Nothing gets kids involved in cooking more than building their own meal, especially mini pizzas! And it's so easy.
I used a Martha Stewart dough recipe that is delish!! Click here for Martha's recipe. The dough came out so fluffy and easy to roll out. The kids liked trying to toss it like real pizza makers.
But the fun part for me was all of the different toppings to choose from. We had chicken, sausage, pepperoni, veggies, cheese, sauce, you name it!! And the kids loved it. Check your garden and see what's ready to pick. Use that as your pizza topping!
We threw a little corn meal on the cookie sheet to keep the dough from sticking and cooked them at 400 degrees F for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Yummy!!
Looks delicious, and brings me back to when my girls were young and we'd do this with their friends. Nothing tastes as good as a kid's own homemade pizza!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog today, and you are so right about the sale of the Hoosier -- knowing that the gentleman who is buying it LOVES it and will cherish it makes the sting of the low price very easy to bear!
Best wishes, Cass
