A Dessert Table for Christmas

In the midst of all your Christmas cookie baking, take some time out to enjoy your creations!  But do it in style.  Set your table for a wine tasting and dessert with friends.  Often we give away plates of cookies to family and friends.  This year invite them over to enjoy them with you.

The centerpiece should be a dessert tier to show off all those tasty goodies you slaved over.  Mom has a beautiful dessert tier perfect for Christmas.  We did a full place setting in case some desserts need a fork or spoon.  For some reason we always want mom to make banana cream or coconut cream pie for the holidays.  It was banana cream at Thanksgiving.  Yum!!

But back to the table.  Give your guests a gift they can take home with them to remember you by.  Each of the place settings have a sparkly oversized bulb for their tree.

Start a tradition with dessert tasting parties at your house this year!

  5. Lovely idea with the Dessert party. Your table is truly festive. All of your guests will enjoy and remember their treasure you gave them. Happy Holidays! I am your newest follower. A good tip is to not use the security code. It turns some people off. Linda

  6. A dessert tasting is the perfect answer for those who are teetotalers!!! I have quite a few friends who don't imbibe, so a dessert party would be a great way to entice them over during the holidays...or anytime! The table looks great! Give your Mom my best, and have a great weekend!
