Mosaic Project Art Piece

Our art center has a yearly project every year called the Mosaic Project, where members of the community can submit a small canvas that becomes a part of a large piece that has everyone's piece included in it.  It's an amazing project and I'm proud to be a part of it!

Here is my piece called Illumination, which is the sun rising behind the bridge in our town that crosses the Mississippi.

The Project uses canvas and I decided to use watercolor and pen.  Watercolor isn't meant to be used with canvas, but I use them together a lot.  I like to try to use things that don't normally belong together as an experiment.
