Fried Green Beans, Anyone?

A few months ago I was lucky enough to be in Denver for work.  One of the nights I was there, we went to P.F.Changs, against my better judgement.  See, I'm not a big fan of that kind of food.  But someone in our group ordered the fried green beans as our appetizer.

They were amazing!!  So I made some.

Here is the recipe:

1 cup of flour
1 can of beer (your choice!)
salt and pepper
fresh green beans

Heat up your deep fryer.  Mix the ingredients together (minus the beans).  Dredge the green beans in the batter and put on a tray or cookie sheet.

Once the oil is ready to cook with, drop each bean in.  I know this sounds tedious, but they tend to clump together if you put them all in at once.  They will try to clump even after adding them individually, so have some tongs ready to keep the apart.

Once they are golden brown, take them out and put them on a paper towel to absorb the excess grease.

Serve and enjoy!!
