Christmas was such a fun time this year, I thought I would share, even though it was a month ago! Mom made prime rib, twice-baked potatoes, corn, bread, and pheasant. It was so good! And we used china that she bought in Florida at the Elephant's Trunk. It's a store run by the Women's Hospital Auxiliary. The china is Czechoslovakian and mom got 73 beautiful pieces.
The prime rib with au jus and horseradish sauce was wonderful. It was the first time I ever had prime rib. Can you believe it?!?
Mom made this cool centerpiece with a glass serving bowl, a hurricane, a candle, and some real cranberries.
The pattern on the china is so delicate and pretty.
Then came my favorite part of any dinner - dessert! We had a wonderfully dense chocolate cake, mint brownies and some oreo truffles.
Can't wait until next Christmas!!
I found you through Tablescape Thursday. I'm your newest follower. http://moogieland.blogspot.com/
