Happy July!

It's officially July and all week I have been (mostly) talking about entertaining this weekend.  Well, today is no exception.  Let's talk about table settings, baby!  Mom has been experimenting with some patriotic table settings.  And my mom knows how to set a table!

There's a pretty red bucket for drinks, candle holders, place mats, patriotic chargers and plates, and napkins wrapped around silverware in cute little buckets.  The tablecloth is a former duvet cover, but its the perfect background for this table.

It doesn't take much to make your table festive and fun!  Even if you have white dishes, add in red and blue accents.  Hardware stores have flags in every size and price and red vinyl table cloths are very inexpensive.  Or get a yard of fabric.  Fabric stores have great patterns and tons of holiday fabric for any occasion. Use some white flowers for your centerpiece.  White daisies are fresh and summery and don't cost very much.  Stick a mini flag in the arrangement.  It's time to celebrate!!

Happy July!!

  1. Happy July to you too! It's my birthday month, so I am always happy to see July roll around on the calendar. I don't worry about getting older, I'm just grateful that I AM getting older!

Lovely happy 4th of July table. Love the drinks bucket, and I think we must shop in the same swanky stores for our holiday bling. :-)

    Have a good holiday!
