Summer's Bounty Tablescape

It's mid-July and the hard work done in our garden is starting to pay off.  And just in time for Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.  Thursday is special because it is Susan's 100th Tablescape Thursday.  Congratulations, Susan!  Her table looks beautiful.

And here is my summer's bounty tablescape!!

I have always loved vegetable-themed dishes and have been collecting them for years.  I'm so happy to share them!

All of the vegetables, except the carrots, are from our garden, picked today!!

I hope you enjoyed my tablescape!!

  2. Love, love, love everything. I have to say if I were going to put something in my purse as I left your party, it would be the whole collection of tea pots, they are soooo adorable!!! Thanks for sharing your lovely collection and be sure to check handbags on the way out!

  3. What a cute idea for a table! Your garden has produced such colorful (and no doubt tasty!) decorations, and your vegetable-themed dishes are the perfect complement.

  4. This is super! So often we completely forget how BEAUTIFUL and vibrant the colors of vegetables are because we're so fixed on florals. I once went to a wedding reception which used vegetables in decorating. It was fun and pretty!

Your tomato table is fun and pretty too!

  7. I'm envious of your garden. I satisfy my need for home grown veggies by taking trips to the Farmer's Market. You veggie dishware set the mood perfectly, and I love the shot of your table just beneath that lovely window. I hoped that perhaps it gazed out to a view of your garden. Thank you for sharing your charming design with us. Cherry Kay

  8. Jenny,
what a brillant idea to collect those adorable veggie plates and to complement the table with fresh vegetables out of your garden. It is such a cute table! Vegetable from the own garden is so colorful, fresh and tasty and makes a pretty decoration. Thank you for sharing this nice table.
    Greetings, Johanna

  9. How wonderful -- love the way you've used your garden for table inspiration. Fresh from the garden vegetables are so much better -- it's been a long time since we had one, but fortunately we do recieve bounty from friends once in a while. Enjoy the fruits of you labor!
