Fiesta Table

Did you know that National Hispanic Heritage Month begins today, September 15, and ends October 15?  So I thought, what better way to kick off that celebration than to show this week's table.  It has everything I love about Hispanic heritage - a sense of fun and family, bright colors and, of course, the food.

Ever hit a pinata?  Now that is fun!!  But he's too cute to smash...

My favorite part of this table has to be the blanket turned tablecloth.  I love bright colors.  Almost every room in our house is painted - no white walls here!

So as to not go to waste, we sat at our lovely table and had chicken fajitas tonight!  Yum!!  Hope you enjoyed our Hispanic Heritage Month kickoff table!

  1. This is a really fun table that made me want to pull up a chair and stay for a party. I love the donkey pinata in such fun colors and the table covering is great. I even have a couple of those. This just makes me say, "Let's have fun!"
Thanks for putting this table together.

  2. What a bright fun table you have set that just says fiesta. I agree with you that Mr. Donkey is just too cute to hit...he likes being a centerpiece. Joni

  7. What a fun table! I especially like your saguaro glasses but that may have something to do with where I live. :) The colors are wonderful.
