A Birthday in December

My daughter's birthday is a couple weeks before Christmas.  So to make her birthday special in the midst of all the holiday shopping, decorating, cooking and other festivities, the first decoration that comes out after Thanksgiving is her birthday tree.



She loves it!  Mom bought it for her first birthday and it has been a birthday tradition ever since.  There are glass ornaments of pieces of cake, sundaes, cupcakes and party favors.





So instead of celebrating for one day, we celebrate for a couple weeks!
