Robin's Egg Athol with Copper Mikasa Tablescape

Spring is in the air this week and we are celebrating!!  Mom came up with an wonderful color duo for our table - robin's egg blue and copper!!  I love this combination.  It is really fresh and we get to use those AMAZING Mikasa dishes again!  Remember our New Year's Eve table?  Those Mikasa dishes are so versatile!  They work great paired with black for an elegant winter table and now with a fresh spring color.

Our robin's egg blue comes from England with our Athol fine bone china.  I'm in love with this color and I've got to paint something using this same color!  The flowers are delicate and really balance the strong copper color.

Our bird centerpiece adds an elegant touch.  And I love grouping in threes - three bud vases with roses and three votives.  Everything is better in threes - two is not enough and four is too many!

Mikasa fills our table this week with the china and also the stemware and flatware.

 Mom made these pretty napkins!!

I hope you enjoyed our tablescape this week!

  1. I think you could have named your tablescape "the Bold and the Beautifull"......the copper bein "bold" and the
Athol fine bone china being the "beautiful"! I am love with your robin's egg blue china.....so very delicate and the perfect contrast for your bold copper. The centerpiece is very interesting and most unique, too......lovely roses, cloche and bird!

  5. Stunning!
I agree... something needs to be painted that Robin's Egg Blue. I'm trying to talk my hubby into repainting our bedroom that color...

I couldn't agree more on the "rule of 3's". We're on the same page ;0)

I'm stopping by from Tablescape Thurs @ BNOTP.
